Coal, gas, biomass and nuclear power plants require precise on-site machining of turbine casings, generator rotors and steam-generator welds. During outages, thick-walled pipes made of demanding materials must be cut, bevelled and post-weld heat treated within short windows.

HSOS delivers cutting, line boring, face milling, on-site grinding and PWHT with documented accuracy to DIN, VGB and VDI standards. We have extensive references in the cutting and beveling of thick-walled components, turbine machining and heat treatment during power plant outages.
