What is on-line leak sealing?
In leak sealing, an active leak on pipework, a flange or a valve is sealed while the plant keeps running — no shutdown, no pressure reduction, around the clock. A custom-made clamp or enclosure is fitted around the leak and the cavity is injected with sealing compound under controlled pressure until the leak stops. The seal safely bridges the time until the definitive repair at the next planned shutdown.
Scope of service
- ▸Sealing on pipes, flanges, valves and equipment — in operation
- ▸Custom-engineered clamps and enclosures from in-house design and CNC manufacturing
- ▸Design compliant with ASME VIII Division 1 and RToD
- ▸Valve packing injection (gland/stem sealing)
- ▸Pipe nipping with compound-injection option
- ▸24/7 emergency service, Europe-wide
Technical data
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Emergency response time | in DE/Benelux typically 4–8 hours |
| Engineering | in-house design + CNC manufacturing of the clamps |
Emergency sequence
- ▸1. First call 24/7 — clarification of medium, pressure, temperature, geometry (photos are often enough)
- ▸2. Design and CNC manufacturing of the custom clamp/enclosure
- ▸3. Installation and controlled compound injection in operation
- ▸4. Documentation of the seal; recommendation for the definitive repair (e.g. composite repair to ISO 24817 or replacement at the shutdown)
Why HSOS?
Prevents costly unplanned shutdowns: the leak is stopped in operation and the definitive repair becomes plannable. In-house design and CNC manufacturing make us fast — and with composite repair, flange facing and bolting, HSOS also delivers the permanent solution from a single source.

Frequently Asked Questions
How fast are you on site in case of an acute leak?
In Germany and the Benelux countries we typically reach your plant within 4–8 hours; equipment is mobilised in parallel. The emergency service is staffed around the clock.
Does such a seal last permanently?
The seal is designed as a safe bridge until the next planned repair opportunity and is handed over documented. For the permanent solution we then offer, for example, a composite repair to ISO 24817 or replacement during the shutdown.
