Can Kilic, our QHSE Manager Europe, has been an active member of the ISO 9001 standards committee at the Dutch standardisation institute NEN since October 2025 — congratulations from all of us. And there is more: in July 2026 he was named a finalist for IOSH Future Leader of the Year, the young-professional award of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). For HSOS it means we sit at the table where our industry’s quality requirements are written, not only where they later have to be met. Can Kilic is HSOS’s company-wide quality and safety officer and is responsible for certification and its upkeep at every location across six countries. Where we stand today: all branches are certified to ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety), complemented by the country-specific credentials of each market — VCA-P in the Netherlands and Belgium, SCC-P in Germany, plus qualifications such as AD 2000-HP 7/1 for heat treatment. For plant operators that means the same standards, the same documentation and the same safety rules, whichever of our branches runs the job.
