Temse covers the Belgian side of the Antwerp industrial cluster. The site lies on the Scheldt, a good 17 kilometres from the refineries and petrochemical plants of the Antwerp port and chemical belt — the largest chemical location in Europe after Rijnmond. The plants around Beveren are 14 kilometres away and the chemical site at Geel 55 kilometres; across the Scheldt estuary the area extends to Terneuzen (37 km) and Zeeland (48 km).
Temse is the Belgian company, with Belgian staff and short routes into the plants. The Dutch side of the same cluster is handled by our location in Hoogerheide.
